Another source of income will be revenue generated by the rental of machines. After the project has ended, the zone coordinators will provide continuing technical and local support. The training participants and other interested parties will thus have the possibility to rent machines that are required for machine-based sustainable rice production.

This rental arrangement is affordable and particularly interesting for farmers, who normally are not ableto buy machines or spare parts.
